V Bay Tomorrow
 

Got a day off, headed to V Bay tomorrow, taking my 10 year old out, he thinks we need to go! Any suggestions since this last front. Have done fairly well about a month ago in Weeks.
Any info greatly appreciated!!!!

Caught a few in the cove Monday evening and didn't try anywhere else. Good luck

Thanks for providing an ole USN guy to some info on fish, have been hearing of some sporadic catches here and there.

with this front you might concentrate on a little bit deeper water. Maybe mouth of shark bayou by the state park... fish slow

We went all was well, boy hid under console out of the wind, first cast hooked up, shortly after, he said, "dad not worth getting sick", took the hint.

I am so glad each to all on this site lead me to 'sparkle beetle' it has prevailed the last two trips.
