Be proactive start looking for another job now!!! Sometimes it works out for the better !! Will say a prayer for you that no matter what happens it will be a positive move for you.

Done, good luck. Like the others said start looking around just in case. Some companies hire around the 1st so you do not want to miss that group.

My company had a big lay off in '92. I had another job lined up, but it turned out, I wasn't on that list.
