Crankin' pickles on the Calcasieu

Slow bite early on plastics, had one spit up a bluegill which I matched to a crankbait as close as possible... After that, it was ON :D

Caught and released over 30, one good one for every 4 or 5 pickles... Fun fishing, rain showers off and on added to the morning...

Not a bad trip. I was suppose to go this morning by 210 but after a rough night of being sick and my fishing partner oversleeping. I didn't go. I was wanting to go on the river this afternoon but i still was feeling under the weather. I'm hoping to get out on river before the rain muddies up the water.

Depending on the weather in the morning :rolleyes:, I may hit it again... No monsters being caught, just fun fishin' ...

My "former" fishing partner overslept more than once, that's why he is my former fishing partner :D

It's enjoyable/fun just catching and being on the water no matter what size your catching.
