Louisiana vs Texas License.

I know there is some debate over which license you have to have in order to launch in Texas but hunt in Louisiana.... per Texas Wildlife and Fisheries Game it is acceptable to launch in Texas and hunt Louisiana with a Louisiana license. As long as you know where you are hunting and are in compliance with Louisiana regulations you are fine. I was told that people do this every day out there. Hope this clears up some misconception on everyone's part. The agent also said that they would have to prove you killed the birds in texas to be fined. Know your borders and regulations.

Thanks
Eddie

If its the marsh around Sabine Lake ,you better watch the tide or you may be in for a long hunt . I havent heard any reports from that area this year, but there was ducks there around October when I was fishing that area. Hope you have a good hunt no matter where its at .

I dont think they have a problem with tide where they hunt... he hasnt hunted this past week but they do well on south winds. gets me outta the house. being out there is what does it for me. the birds are a plus!
