Thanksgiving Week of hunting

Gerald and I took off all last week and managed to kill a few birds in the mean time. Had a few first that took place for the crew, our buddy Joe killed his first mallard but by the time we found it had 2 racoons on it. We were all pretty disappointed but that's the breaks. I didn't take pics of every hunt but we had a pretty good week. All birds were killed in Fenton with the large amounts killed in Grand Chiener. We averaged around 8 birds a day in Fenton and the 2 hunts we made in G.C we limited with 24 each day. All in all a great week with friends and family. Now what sucks is we have to go back to work.

Easy Ramond, it's a long story that was after a green head about 600 yards

cajunforeman 11-27-2011 08:54 PM

I'll admit it the bird was at least 600 yards away and across a canal. We did find out that he does care for a coot.

How have his control issues been so far this season? Any vocalization on blinds? Sombich really has a motor!!!

He has been doing really well at the blind I really can't complain.

Nice looking group of birds! I have been seeing alot of flights coming from the Fenton area. Especially pintails and teal.
