Delacroix 11-25-11

decided to change it up and head to delacroix to chase some trout. Made the quick run down the pencil canal to Bay Jack Nevette. The tide was pulling out hard, put the power pole down and fished the current line coming around a point. it was a one stop shop. we had our 50 trout by 10:00 with a few throw backs and a few that went 4lbs. we also had a few bass and redfish in the mix. all fish were caught on a chartreuse sparkle beetle under a cork. cant get no easier than that!

2nd cast

nice catch, me and my friend talked about going bass fishing if we caught our trout early. where we were at the trout were spread out not in schools and they were being picky on what they would bite.

They wanted anything as long as it was chartreuse. We caught the bass on the cork/beetle as well

That's what I threw 2 weeks ago. Along with the glow beetle.

The guy that was with me never fly fished before. We ran down south and i put him on some fish but he couldnt connect. Whenever you ready to come, the fish are there, and the water is clear. :)
