Went out to hunt down some reds and did we get what we asked for! 3 man limit with more hooked and released to fight another day. Mixed in a few nice drums in there to add to the box. Top two red fish measured 31" and 32". This is when you don't mind having to lay down the green on quality equipment. Fish were caught on Gulp Shrimp (different colors) on 3/8 jig heads with slow retrieve and crome rattle traps near rocks and some just fairly far of the bank. Bite wasn't real fast but consistant, although at one time we had a triple hook-up until one broke off and left room for someone to net...that just happened to be me! It was a blast up to the point we had to take that ice chest down and start cleaning!!! Those bad boys are knife killers. Arms and back sore, dirty and ready to eat...life is GOOD!!!!:smokin:
