That's how I roll. Taste test every batch of taters, fish, shrimp...

My dad is the same way. Learned from him.

My wife gets upset. Last time we had a big fish fry, my dad, me and my lil sister ate the first 2 batches of fried taters and the first 2 batches of fish.
Everyone who sat inside was not happy. Wife hadta go get anudder sacka taters and peel/cut them.
Everything tastes best when hot, greasy and just seasoned. Not after it cools down.
