West Cove-Mixed Bag
 

Went to WC yesterday morning. Arrived at about 9:30 am. Some duck hunters were coming out but they had a lot of them still out. The parking lot was full. Rather windy later in the day but not terrible early. Caught 10 trout, 2 reds and a flounder. Also, caught 7 big crabs - that's why 2 specks have no heads- crab bait. A good day on the water and found out that my little boat can take some decent chop. I was working birds about 300-400 yards out from the mouth of the cut and took a couple over the front but not too bad. If it would have been calmer I could have got a limit for sure. The biggest trout was a little over 22" L. Anybody know where the redfish are at. I thought I would do better on the reds than I did.

Should be able to find some reds on the banks.
