Planns foiled!!!!!

Today planned on hitting the fields between Kaplan and guedan s/p
Found out my sons friend can't hunt because his Dad doesn't believe in shooting guns??????
The Goose'sssss r there!!!!

Bringing the other two boys to the range @ 6a/m leaving the one with my wife...
Should I wait for the other boy to leave?
I felt bad for the kid but his parents wouldn't let him come.
Saltycajun wisdom is needed!!!! :):)

I'd leave him with the wife too. I hope he is just worried about the kid with a gun and him not being there and not because he is one of those tree huggers.

Take him..best to get kids involved early...I wish I had been.....damn private school.

Oh and mom demanded that she had as much to spend as my Dad would have spent on a lease.

If you really want wisdom I need a question answered first.
Did your son invite him to stay the night before or after he knew y'all were going hunting? If he knew before, then your son should stay home with his guest. (your son made that choice) If he found out after, then you shouldn't have asked your son to go if his guest couldn't go with him. It's all about responsability. If your son knew before hand that y'all were going hunting then he "assumed" his friend could go. (and your son should stay home with his guest) If, on the other hand you asked your son to go after he had already made plans with his friend then you "assumed" your son's friend could go.

I do agree that your son's friend's parents need to let him learn about the shooting sports. Maybe try to get the dad involved also. It's a shame that a lot of kids these days do not get to enjoy shooting sports because of their parents beliefs.
