First I hear of it,pretty crazy. That is why I don't care to go on bourban and french quarter after dark. Crazy people will shoot you for stepping on their shoes! http://www.nola.com/crime/index.ssf/..._with_2_d.html

Yeah I know,most of the shootings are outside the french quarter in the "ghetto".

Maybe I should bring my 45 with us. No. I will be bringing my 45 with us.

I love the history and uniqueness of new orleans but it can be a very dangerous place to visit. Back in my teens/early 20's I use to run wild in that city,I think twice now. I did some roofing after katrina and saw someone get shot in the back for no apparent reason.

We love going to Nola. It's is a very dangerous place though. So I guess I will get the ol 1911 out of the closet.

yeah, that report sounded like someone was shocked about the reality of which racial MAJORITY causes the majority of the crime in the new orleans area! as if it wasn't obvious!

That's why when I go to New Urlans I bring IronMan as my body guard

In NOLA, people are surprised when no one gets shot.

Its very true, its all over the news when no one gets shot. I guess they have to fill the airtime somehow.
