Been learning it the past couple of yrs. Like Toledo it's very low. Even though there is stumps to worry about the main problem is sandbars. With all of that said I love fishing there. I have a tournament there this weekend but probably won't make it.

If I fish this weekend I'll give you an report. To me it's different than fishing the bend. It has a lot more sandy bottom. The scenery is beautiful. They are not allow to put docks out in the water. So there is no run down falling apart docks along the bank. The best setup I have found is a Carolina rigged fluke.

My grandad has a camp nearby we fish it alot in the spring. With the water low Caney creek would be one of the better launches, lots of grass in the area as well

wacky worm works really well there, as well as the carolina rig fluke as merc said earlier. find the deep edge of the grass

Well I won't be fishing my tournament this weekend. Going to be a good husband and watch the kids so my wife can have girls day.
