Lafayette Police Question
 

Wondering if the Lafayette area has fashion police officers, particularly the 'sock and sandal police'?

Took a big risk this morning by taking the kid to daycare with socks and sandals on:eek: If so, what is the fine? Jailtime? In Monroe, the fine was $500 or you could plead no contest and get 3 floggings. The 'sock and sandal' police are no longer though, they have been converted to the new 'sock and Sperry's:grinpimp:' police

It is illegal to post where there are socks and sandals checkpoints... if you do you are allowing some fashion fo pa (sp?) to run around and catch the eye of innocent by standers.... L M F A O

I for one have violated the law with socks and Birkenstocks:eek:. Even though I did not receive a citation, I had about a 3 week run of bad luck that I attribute fully to me breaking the law and getting paid back for those days I wore socks with sandals
