Yellow Lab Puppies
 

I have a litter of akc/ukc registered yellow labs due to be weaned on 9/7/11. They are either light yellow or fox red in color. The dam is out of lean mac/viking linage and was a pup out of david sterlese's bi*ch. She is a solid gun dog and probably the smartest dog that i have ever owned. The sire is hrch marsh prairie claim jumper (rascal) who is an outstanding gun dog. Rascal hunts about 70 days/yr and at the age of 10 still retrieved over 1000 birds over water in 2010-11. I have every intention of hunting rascal everyday of the 2011-12 season. To me, this speaks volumes about the strength of this dog. I have the dogs listed in the houston area for $1000 a piece, but i would like some of them to stay in this area and hunt every day. I am asking $600 a pup if they stay around here (and hunt). Joi is indeed a special animal but I am biased since I trained her. The breeding that produced your dog was very good, can't wait to see if it held up with second and last breeding.

I will be in the market very soon for a new pup. Mine is 9 and getting arthritis. I think he still might have 2 seasons left. Was trying to hold out till around XMas time to make it as a present for my daughter. Mine is a yellow. I was leaning more toward black or chocolate but if they are great dogs, I'm interested. Got any pics of them?

I have pics but it will take me a day or so to post them. I am in the same boat with Rascal getting old. When you guide everyday it takes a toll on your dog. This is the longest I have ever been able to hunt a lab everyday. Bad thing is this could be his last breeding. One of the pups is his replacement.

Yeh I don't guide, but my dog gets hunted on average 3-4x a week in the marsh. It has really taken a toll on him. Just post em up when u get a chance. Thanks.

Will do. Had 9 (7 males, 2 females), have 3 left. 1 fox red male, 1 yellow female and 1 yellow male. The fox reds seem to go first.

Sorry I took so long to get back with you. Just sent you a PM. I tried talking my little girl into it and showed her pics but she says it is "her" dog and she wants a black one and a black one only. And if I get her one for Christmas it will save me alot of jack on presents and I can use it as blackmail to keep her behaving!
