Someone PM ed me yesterday from here..... About this rumor... I was down their and never saw a dead fish...we watched pinky play for 20mins by ferry

Talked to 5 guides who fished or went down their today....none saw or heard of any such thing..

Like they said.... Probably some dead pogy or mullet thrown off a pogy boat...

Montegut Madman 07-23-2011 07:59 PM

i was wading near the pogy plant and i saw the dead fish

Did u get pics of these fish??? Because with 50 people or more down there today... You are the only one who has seen dead trout

Montegut Madman 07-23-2011 08:05 PM

i wasnt bringing my phone in the water

I believe you but your sure 100% it was trout?? Not sand trout ,big mullet or some kind of fish that could of came out of a shrimp net? Or off a pogy boat? If it was dead trout...all I could see is... Someone caught a load of the off a wharf or fueling dock and did not clean them....so the dumped back in water.....

yes i had my tape measure because i was curious of exactly how big it was i had my truck backed up to the ship channel and the dead fish were gathered against the bank. why would i lie about something like this

mcjaredsandwich 07-23-2011 08:51 PM

Didnt see a single dead fish today, ran south of the old jetties. Only dead fish I have seen in numbers are mullet and hardheads from the shrimp boats.
