Hit the lake yesterday with some buddies from Kaplan. Started on the east side but it was too windy do do anying there. Hit long point then headed into west cove where we picked up 2 reds along the bank. had to wait out a thunderstorm for an hour or so around noon. we were going to head back in since the morning wasnt too hot then we seen some birds on the south end by the ship channel. end up picking up 15 or so under them. cleaned the boat and was almost back to heberts when we seen a group right out from the launch. ended up picking up 5 or so out of them. ended up being a pretty decent trip and a pretty good time on the water.
