costa warranties
 

Wanting to know just how far costa goes on warranty. Short story, cement block fell on my glasses,busted the frame and kinda shattered the lens.:pissed::pissed::pissed::pissed::pissed::piss ed: Should I even worry about getting them fixed,or just count it as total loss?

My dog ate mine. I paid $239 for them. Costa replaced them for 1
$175. They even let me pick a different style.

paid less than 175 for mine new. My iphone was also under my glasses,now Im having problems with that too. Just not a good day at all!!!!!!!

i cracked a lens and broke a arm on some trip tails and they fixed everything for 100 plus the shipping which was around 10bucks. you can get a brand new pair off ebay for 150bucks free shipping. i imagine right now they are busy so turn around might be long.

Once you send it in you gotta call them at 7:01am........once they look at your order they will get them out quick. Or you can just wait in line........I did that and it took 2 mths!!!

Ill prolly just order another pair from ebay,then check and see what they can do for me at costa. If its a good deal,might just end up with a second pair. Looks like I might have the iphone thing fixed up too. They're sending me another one.

If it was me I would not send them in bcuz they broke by a cement block! Not a manufacture flaw. That's what warranties are fir ... Defects. This is why shinano won't let u swap lifetime warranty rods over the counter anymore because people abuse the system . But that's just me I guess do what ever u are comfortable with

Buy a pair of metal frames from me.....break them, send them in and they will give you a pair of brine or fathom

Thats what I had was the brine. Those fit my head the best when I bought em.

Pox, you are right,I prolly wont send em back. Just wanted to see if there was a clause about being unbreakable!!! Impressed with the lens though. Has some stress fractures but didnt shatter. I think its the actual coating,cuz you cant even feel the scratch on the lens with your fingernail.
