Have a much smaller tract for this year. Where about is your lease? |
You said at the feed store do yall have a feed mill anywhere around, we hunt Eldorado and have a feed mill we buy ours at
Yeah it sucks....almost the same price to put c'mhere deer in the feeders :D
Buy direct, if you are using that much corn find a farmer and purchase from him. Might be cheaper in the long run.
our lease is 7 miles west on us 190. we use to buy our corn from mill, by the super bag in New Berlin but now the mill is closed. The only good thing is we only have to feed one time a year.our feeders are 1200 pound boss buck feeders
you can buy from a local mill or elevator. you can get it for around 9 bucks for a 55gallon drum. we get ours from a feed store in white castle 12 a drum. you have to bring your own drums and they just pour it in. if they still have corn left over from last year you can get it pretty cheap. only thing is you might have little pieces of cob in it and it can clog a feeder. just pour it through a screen when filling feeders.
