Offshore Reds

Excuse the late report but went Sat with my son (AggieTiger) and friend to the near rigs out of Cameron and fought and released bull reds on light tackle and live swimp till their arms hurt. Drifted a few grass mats on the way back with no luck. Didn't find any trout at the rigs. The current was rippin' till about 10 and the bite shut off. Hit the washout on the way in for a few trout. The boys had a good time and are still talking about a few of the bulls that broke off at the boat.

Don't you know it... I had a fightin' belt tucked away up front but I wouldn't offer it to 'em. 30# braid setup but broke a few snap swivels early until I found some heavier class terminals. After that it was on...burnin' drag! I got a video I need to edit the curse words out of....and then I'll post it.
