Big lake skrimps
 

Well made my first trip today to weirs and it was ruff. Left out of Hebert's in my 15x48 and by the time I made it to the weirs I was drenched, Alwelds are such dry ridein boats. Well when I got there it was pretty much all to my self not even guide boats. I ended up see a guy from work and between the 2 of us you could not have gotten a limit, they just werent movin and the few people that did show up to fish I only saw a few fish caught, owell I shall go back and try agin.

What was the water doing????

Shrimping is much better if the tide is moving the water. Best when the tide is falling.

What size were the shrimp that you caught?

it was poorin in through the weirs, shrimp were all atleast med size some large. The guy I know that I saw said he's been gettin limit every trip real easy, he went home with less then I got.
