Motorguide Wireless TM problem

I bought a 24 volt, 75lb thrust wireless trolling motor for my flats boat about 3months ago. it was working great but now i cant turn the thing while the motor is running. I have to turn it off, turn the direction i want to go and then turn the motor back on. its a pain in the butt! when you try to turn while the motor is running, it makes a noise likes its in a serious bind. like a grinding noise also. I guess i need to bring it back to Cabela's. I just dont want them to have to send it off and im out a TM for months!!.

Transmitter is going out....bring it to a motorguide warranty center, cabelas won't help you. I know they have one in baton rouge, not sure what the name is though.

Hes a beast alright. On prices. I tried to order my last trolling motor from him and he was $250 higher than retail (cabelas, bass pro, etc). Which i dont understand because minn kota and motorguide have set prices.

He commented on price of a new trolling motor, that is off topic. The thread was about a warranty issue.

bayouchub 06-22-2011 03:51 PM

The way ken conducted himself on the phone with me was EXTREMELY unprofessional. I wouldnt take a toy trolling motor to him.
