Fly Fishing for days

1 Attachment(s)
Outcast and I made a Friday, Saturday run down to Reggio and Delacroix. We pre-fished for the Saltwater series next weekend and had a little fun while doing it. We saw well over a hundred fish in the two days and were able to land double digits. Today we got an added bonus of having Paul Myers on the boat with us. Paul was able to land his first red on the fly this morning and we couldn't have been happier. All in all a great weekend with new and old friends. Paul want to say it was great meeting you and once I get done with this tournament you are coming back to this side for more.

Nice Red Paul.

I got 2 fly rods.........just sitting in the shop. I use to use them fairly often for catching bream. A nice Red would be a blast.

if you used those fly rods for bream, they just might be a blast and splinters!

One for sure..... it is a 60+ year old Bambo rod.

Other rod I think could handle a nice Red. Not sure what weight rod it is.

Just talked to Captain Rocky, looks like I am headed back to Reggio in the morning. Three days of fly fishing in a row, what's a man to do? I know, enjoy it!

A few more pics, these are from today! Had one of the best days of fishing that I can remember having. Saw at least 10 different schools of fish tailing and well over 100 fish we put eyes on. Hooked 30+ and landed 20+ on the fly.
