Fished last night at my dads pond with my daughter she is 2.5 yrs. shes not too good at fishing but she can reel it in if i cast it out for her. Anyway she caught her first bass ever last night working a fluke slower than ive ever seen. After she caught this one, she immediately got a nother bite so i thought maybe she was on to something so i changed to her amazingly slow and simple retrieve and i caught 4 more and had one break my line. Really great memory for her first of hopefully many quality largemouth.

Thats what I'm hoping for is "excitement". It will break my heart if she doesnt show interest....but I think she will. I always show her the fish when I get back from fishin.

yea its been frustrating trying to teach her the tecnique of casting and reeling. got her started when she was almost 2 catching bream and she loved it. she will be 3 july 24th fishing is all she talks about. She even helps me organize my tackle. Def a daddys girl

yea by then it will be easy to get the ole lady to let you go fishing. When you start taking a kid off her hands she will start begging you to go haha
