My 11 year old Thomas and I hit the rigs in Dularge on Monday. Got to one spot at 8:30. We picked-up 18 fish on plastics (glow bayou chubs). Well all of a sudden a boat with 5 guys pull up about 25 yards from us throwing live croakers.....:cry::cry:Our bite turned off..:pissed:...they were killing the specs & I could not even get a bite using GULP swrimps. I have heard how someone fishing live bait next to someone fishing plastics will shout down your bite; however, I have never had it happen to....will not happen again. All in all, a good moring of fishing with my son. Regardless we had to leave early since he had a baseball game I was leaving today (TUES) morning on buisness for TENN til THURS...BTW, sorry for the PIC quality....my son took it on my wifes Iphone.https://mobile.sulzer.com/Exchange/R...o.JPG?attach=1

The reason you can't see the pics. is he is lying. He can't catch fish in a barrel.

I think my pic is too big because I cannot see it either. BTW, Rake hope you stay offshore thru teal season.

However, I think I fixed it since I can see the pic now.

So thats why he wants to fish with me sometime...

Mardi Gras....block 28

gotcha, I was out there with my son on friday. Had 20 at 26 and 25 at mardi gras. Prolly some guide from cocodrie wit dem croakers.

yes he was a guide. We ran to 26 first and there was a small jacj up rig next to it. Well we got 75 yards or so from it and a guy flagged us off.....so we headed West to 28.

yall fished the big rig at 28?

Spec, we fished the big 28 platform. I have never fished the smaller platforms in the 28 block; however, there was a boat at each smaller platform by big 28.
