First trout and more
 

Fished the shootout with my daughter Saturday. We had a great day catching just not much size to them. She caught her first trout, and second, etc. Didn't make the prize list but she tells everyone she sees that she came in 21st place. LMAO. Ran over to Chico after leaving Big lake and all she wanted to do there was fish. She caught what I think is a carp. Looked like a baby tarpon as all the carp i've seen were a golden color. Great weekend for me and my girl on the water.

P.S. She was pissed about not getting to keep her trout at the weigh in.

Awesome. You'll both remember the trip. Congrats man! There will be a time in my life for children, just not any time soon. She's hooked for life.

Early reports posted here had her in second place! I immediately called my boys and told them she was on the board, and they were stoked! Tell her Mr. Bryan said "good job" and Macy is welcome on my boat anyday!

Thanks for taking your little girl out with you this past Saturday. I'm sure she had a blast fishing with her dad and will remember it for a very long time. It's great to see parents taking their kids out on the water to enjoy our sport.

LOL. that was early. Kept it alive but the well gave out and the bite slowed. I figured it was around 2 pounds and thought the live bonus would get her in the money. It wasn't quite what I thought. She later caught the 9 pounder that everone speaks of but had already weighed. Sorry no pics.:grinpimp:
