Big Lake 6-4-11
 

Calcutta37,myself and another friend got on the water at 5 a.m. in hope of catching that good topwater bite in the slick conditions. The 3 of us all throwing she dogs and spooks to only boat 2 topwater fish.:pissed: Oh did I mention we stopped at Dugas for some live shrimp (hate throwng that shiat) We started throwing live scrimps w/ popping cocks and catching pretty good when the bite just stopped. We noticed a flock of birds in a distance and made a troll to them picked up 15 quick like on sand eels. Made another move into the lake and finished our limit on live scrimps. Gota givem what they want sometimes.

Hell yeah!!!! I hate fishing with shrimp too....much rather eat em.

Lmao....a dead stop catching someones line will create havoc mono or braid. The falcon is a sweet rod for the money,I will get more.
