Ok.....Where ya at Justin? My buddy "Big Flounder" caught one in Big Lake that weighed 10lbs 5 oz (cert. scale) last year. It looked prehistoric! Freaking huge! I looked at it everyday on the wall cause we shared an office together. It was every bit of 4" thick. He can give yall the length I don't remember. I think it was around 27". Not saying that this fish doesnt weigh 15lbs but to me doesnt even compare to the 10 lber that I looked at everyday for 6 months.:shaking::shaking::shaking:

according to this it would have to be 33 inches to be 15lbs, article says it was almost 30in.... More like 10lbs at the most... And it doesn't look that big...

LaAngler 08-03-2009 06:21 PM

ms state rod n reel record is less than 10

judging by the yardstick in the pic it looks about 25"

Dink 08-03-2009 06:35 PM

Mybe it's a foot and a half thick??? I'd say at most 8...........

regardless of how much he weighed, I bet that fish beat the **** out of him when he gigged it. Anyone else ever gig one close to that size?
