As the sun rose this morning the American flag in my front year had already arisen. South wind continues to blow 10 to 15 knots today but the weather forecast is calling for subsiding winds for the first part of the week the Memorial Day holiday. Famous trout angler Bill Wilson from Houston smacked a big speckled trout along the rocks yesterday afternoon. Live shrimp continues to be the best under a popping cork. The soft plastic baits of choice have been TTF Killer minnows and hackberry Hustlers on a ¼ ounce lead head.

Thanks for the report Captain Buddy. I will be on a family vacation late next week so of course the wind is getting ready to lay down while I am gone. I see big catches in store for you guys next week.
