Cuzzz we catch the biggest trout in the State,,,,, and we don't make fishing shows trolling rattle traps or have a super hero like chink catching 18lbs trout on croker and eating them

If chink had to throw artificial he would scratch most trips....he is lucky he don't live in Texas....they would crucify him!!! Its already bad that Texas is trying to make a croker a game fish so they won't use them for bait.....*****

Columbus named it when he landed at Hebert's Landing. He was a pilgrim...:smokin:

Cuz W's midget arse with t-Rex arms make it look so large! All those 12" trout he catches...well, even they look big against the "midget squat!"

fishinpox 05-25-2011 08:19 PM

....small lake

fishinpox 05-25-2011 08:19 PM

....more like pond

"W" 05-25-2011 08:21 PM

Like Blue said.......the 1st group of Pilgrims landed and saw all that water and those nice bayboats catching trout,,,, they gathered up and set sail on all the boats catching fish..... Once they go home that night one pilgrim said....we need to name this lake that's so big.... So rest is history

Salty 05-25-2011 08:26 PM

Is it even as big as Sabine?

The reason I thought of this is...I was drivin across the eastern end of Lake Pontchartrain today...the narrowest part of the lake and it's still twice as wide as "Big" Lake.

Big Kahunaz 05-25-2011 09:06 PM

Probably due to comparison of other local lakes (Prien & Lake Charles)...it's BIG.
