big lake trip today ~fool

me mom and dad went back to big lake, hit a couple of our old spots, and sure enough the reds was there. Bunch of sand trout, and rat reds.


caught 4 reds that we could of kept, only kept 2 since rest was way to big to keep.


all on artificial, will post pics once finished emailing from my phone

That Red you are holding is just the right size to put on the grill.

People that say they are too big.......probably have never tried to cook one that size. My wife says it taste just like lobster.

wind forcast was right, lake was smooth! except way south. no storms this morning

glad ta see yall got on sum reds. i went friday mornin and woooooooooo, storms everywhere, hell i wasnt skeered, i went wadin in the thick of lightnin and high winds and torrential rain. when the lightnin flashed me about 200 yards away and made my hair stand on end, ok, i left. got a lil skeered then. good trip guys

winds was dead calm, then we ran way south and they picked up.
