Hey guys...hope no one minds one more Texas report...fished the beachfront today around San Luis Pass with a couple of buddies. North wind was just the ticket, ended up with 38 trout caught on a mixture of Mirrodines, TTF Trout Killers, and Live Shrimp. Hopefully the north wind made the beachfront in Lousiana as productive as it was today here.

BTW, pic was from a mid-morning "limit check".

With all this river water coming down, we better be real nice to our neighbors across the Sabine! We may be fishing there for a few weeks!

Pumpkin/White TTF with a chartreuse tail and Chrome/Silver Mirrodines seemed to work the best, had to try and keep them away from the spanish mackeral and ladyfish. For about an hour during the strongest of the incoming tide, I think just about anything would have caught them.

Man the ladyfish were horrible down there last year and the year before. Caught one that must have been 6 or 7 pounds on a Skitterwalk last summer. Lost some Mr. Champs to the Sp. Macs. :pissed:
Good info on the lures you caught em on. Got something like that to use for em.
Congrats again!!
