damn...your old avatar pic (of the bow of the boat) does not do the boat justice...damn thats a nice rig...that bracket/swim platform looks interesting...who makes it/custom?

How long of a ride was it for you? Don't you have to cross a good section of gulf?

simplepeddler 05-10-2011 10:35 AM

The boat is 24'6" at transom with the gill bracket brining her to right at 26 and change. The key is she is 9'10" at the beam..........or somewhere close to that.

Took us 9 hours Dink, with stops to whiz and topping of in Biloxi.
85 gallons of gas.

could have made the trip on one fueling (carry 120 gallons) but wanted some safety factor.

it's a hoot of a trip for sure.

and we really don't run what I would call OPEN water.........run north of Horn Island, Ship Island and Dauphin Island......
Water looks big, but we are never really more than 3-5 miles "offshore"

Ate breakfast at Tacky Jacks a few times. Good place.
Erry time we went to Perdido Key, we hit all the eating and drinking places by boat.
