Happy 2nd B-Day Salty Cajun
 

Today marks the 2nd birthday of the site. the site pre-dates me but was the vision of several people including the original three (Salty, W & LaAngler) and of course Jeff and not to mention the many members that move over from LAS.

The forum is full of sticky's and I will remove some of the threads in the morning but I did want to recognize this date and thank the people that started the ball rolling.

Thank you LaAngler, "W" and Salty for being such jerks on the LAS and getting kicked off so this site could be started....You guys are truly a pain the butt......:D

Time flys hard to think it has been 2 years already. I was a las transplant as well,the open forum setup is much better IMO.

By the way, I think I missed this by a couple of days. Salty sent me a PM correcting me and I think he is right. Oh well, you guys get the point.

Actually it was this past Tuesday. :cry: It's the thOUght that cOUnts.

I wondered if we'd ever make it. We let W pick out the "fronts" for the wording of SaltyCajun.com.

Which is why I posted the pic and tagged everyone......what a day it was

If you really want to know...LaAngler was the 1st to go down,,,,, Then Me and with in seconds Salty(old timer)

i was one of the ones who got banned by TT........ man, that was fun !!

Sorry 'bout that, Casey...I gave you the wrong date. I went back and looked at the Memberlist, and sure enough, it was 5/3 not 5/5 when I started the forum. Man, time flies. :)

I told Salty & w, we need to just have our own place to hang out with no rules :eek: :shaking:. Salty said he didn't think anyone would actually sign up....LOL

Since then I've met some good friends and a ton of other good people b/c of this thing, really cool. I could write a short book on the drama we've had.

I never thought it would survive either... reason I came over here at first was I liked the Salty vs W battle... then I got banned from las too, for being guilty by association lol. Ive met some good friends here as well and had some adventures, not all were fun at the time but they made some great stories at least

That's exactly the words Tony used when I asked him why I was banned. I never said anything out of line over there....I always spoke the truth. :cool: :rolleyes:

2 years! Wow......I love my daily dose of "MAN SOAP OPERA"...lol

I've met some damn good people from this site and have learned quite a bit (alot about curados for some reason! :*****: ) LMAO!

At the end of the day guys just realize this website is a tool for folks to learn, laugh, and have a good time...it is easy to take some things "typed" to heart...take all with a grain of salt...hell maybe with a lime and some tequilla too if thats your bag! ;)

All in all i've enjoyed my time here and hope to enjoy even more!
