Gator Trout on Calcasieu Lake!!!

We found a couple of "Chree Shaka's" yesterday on Big Lake!! The morning started fast with strong out going tides and calm conditions. The top-water bite is in full swing!! We caught a few 14-15" fish and quickly realized that it wasn't the bite we were looking for. Crazy tides make things interesting on Big Lake!! Tide switches and the fish shut of in one area, and start in another. So we pulled in to "The ole Reliable" and we managed to grind out a couple of 6# trout and a few 4#er's!! http://2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/im...ies/cheers.gif |
