Sandhill Cranes

Tue or Wed. of last week I was working outside in lake Charles and heard the strangest bird noise sounded like a bunch of doves. I looked up and there was a flock of about 50 or so birds flying over v shaped like geese or cranes. They were definitely making the calls I was told later they were sandhills
Anyone else see them and can they
Verify they were sandhill cranes..

The largest flock in the state resides in Holmwood not far from Lake Chuck. That is probably the last of them heading back north
