"Callie" . . . . at Halloween

My hunting partners dog, Zeus at a year and a half. Retrieved a little over 400 this season. Really turned the corner this year and is proving to be a fine dog. I had the pleasure of hunting him 3 weeks this year while his owner was working and was on pretty much all the hunts he made this year.

this is our pup, Hemphill Creek Bunny Buster a.k.a. 'Buster' for short. He's a purebred Tri-color Beagle with tan ticking. He was bred to hunt rabbits, but is the best dang lap dog i ever had! pretty dam smart too. knows sit, lay, stay, shake(with either paw u call for), high five, roll over and sit up/beg and can catch a ball or frisbee in flight! great lil dog and a real character!

I post a lot of pics of my dog but here is a few from this year. It's amazing how much hunting changes when you have your own dog.

Gracie the wonder Boykin, She is retired.

I see most are duck dogs.........Well this one I use in the dove fields & has picked up a many in ponds for us, no doubt he'd make a jam up duck dog, but this what his main purpose is for after our weekend or two of dove hunting, other than my buddy, When they find several of these a year they're worth their weight in gold!!!!!!!!!!!! Btw.........both of these were still alive when found & the fight was on!!!!!!!
