Vermillion Bay 12-22-2010
2 Attachment(s)
Thick Fog , Low water. Picked up a few reds early under popping cork on sand eel but had to move to deeper water as tide fell. Picked up a few specks after we moved to water about 6 ft deep. The weather changed about 10:30 am and the bite stopped.

Looks like a good day on the water!

What day was that?

Wednesday December 22nd

Awesome to see some trout still hanging around. How did the water look around close to the point?
|
Real clear early but seemed to get a little cloudy by noon.
|
all under a cork
|
?
|
Yes. Water was smooth as glass. Popping action really magnified in these still conditions.

Thanks for all the info and report. First positive report I've seen from the Bay in a while. I just cked the salinity levels on the USGS website and they look really good for this time of year.
