Lost power for about an hour after dark today, I took a drive and was shocked that it seemed to be dark for a couple miles. The intersections were starting to back up with cars with the lights out.

It's amazing how much we depend on electricity.

I noticed for about a half mile around daquiries it was out earlier.. I guess those daiquiries wont be frozen anymore

We never lost natural gas for the 2 weeks the elect. was out for Rita.
Gas and water service was the only steady thing we had where I live.
