Never had em but I think they are definitely the best looking!

redfishmaster 10-19-2010 10:43 PM

nitto mud grapplers or buckshots are the best choices never really messed with the toyo ones but my bud did have some of the all-terains and they didnt last long at all maybe 40k and then he had to but new ones

Big Kahunaz 10-19-2010 11:13 PM

had some mickey thompson baja mtzs and they were the longest lasting aggressive tire i've had to date, very little noise or vibration & look sharp...although i will be putting the toyo's on in the next month (have heard they are a little soft though)

Had some on my sons Z71. Didn't like em much. Wore down pretty quick.

SaltyShaw 10-20-2010 06:12 AM

30-40k is all you are gonna get out of them, know some friends that had them. Good looking tire though!

tcglsu 10-20-2010 06:19 AM

I had some I put close to 50k on mine and still had a Lil life left in them when I took them off. Very quite tires.. Had the grapplers to ... You couldn't give me a new set of them ...

SaltyShaw 10-20-2010 06:31 AM

Did you rotate them often?

tcglsu 10-20-2010 06:46 AM

Yeap that the life of em

meathauler 10-20-2010 07:38 AM

What about some all terrain tires like **** Cepek or Toyo?

BellPepperHead 10-20-2010 07:51 AM

I am going to put a set on Friday

SaltyShaw 10-20-2010 08:39 AM

I like those **** Cepeks and some of the Mickey Thompsons

Ray 10-20-2010 10:16 AM

Most of the more aggressive mud tires don't last as long as street tires.
Really aggressive tires are lucky to get 40K miles on them.
If you get more, then you did good.

I have the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZs on my 1/2 ton Z71 and I really like them. I do alot of driving and they are holding up really well. I have about 40,000 on them and they aren't even close to being worn down.

it's not hype either, if you spend a lot of time on the road they are top notch for gas or diesels. i was going to get a 2nd set but for my 18" wheels they were 325 a tire.

Asterisk-Rich 10-20-2010 12:02 PM

The new wranglers mtr are pretty nice and I want to say they gave a 70k mile warranty on them and the sidewalks are reinforced with kevlar
