Sea-Trac Offshore 10-05-2010 06:32 AM

Cool. The Sprint gives us great service but for a top of the line Palm phone, I am always exchanging them out and software problems left and right

PaulMyers 10-05-2010 07:06 AM

Dude, you need to get the HTC EVO, I got one a couple months ago and I love it. I'm heading to Aransas Pass today so I'll get to try out 4G on it.

I've had real good luck with att, my wife hated sprint always poor service

yak'em-n-stack'em 10-05-2010 09:15 AM

I have to call people twice before it connects and dropped calls are rediculous

First thing to get is not a App it is the Otter Case. That think is tough and water proof. Great phones. I also have AT&T and we do ok with it. I really have no real complaints.

fishinpox 10-05-2010 01:27 PM

get the craigslist app:rotfl: ladies of the night at yer finger tips:*****::*****::*****:

Asterisk-Rich 10-05-2010 02:12 PM

Verizon has the best service...but not on the water.

SULPHITE 10-05-2010 02:31 PM

weather apps, tide app, games...angry birds for sure...

I had verizon no complaints...but it would not work on Big Lake or in Cameron well...so I switched to ATT. Service is decent but more dropped calls etc. I have no problems on the lake or in cameron at all...

I bet. I wish they had that crap here already.

LaAngler 10-05-2010 05:07 PM

navionics has a marine chartplotter app, supposed to be good quality.

Sea-Trac Offshore 10-05-2010 06:13 PM

I went to radio crap today and looked at the evo and the epic. Evo looks sweet but the epic also has the slide out keyboard. I email all day on my phone so with the evo will it hog a bunch of screen or should I go epic?

Sea-Trac Offshore 10-10-2010 05:12 PM

Went with the evo and so far so good. Now teaching my wife how to use it and load apps is another story

PaulMyers 10-10-2010 06:13 PM

Apps are not a problem. Now teaching the wife, that's a whole nother story.

I'll post a list of must have apps when I get back to a computer.

Definately get these apps: CBS Sports, Fishin' 2 Go, LSU Tigers Football, Pandora, ESPN Score Center, Task Manager, and The Weather Channel

It should come with Sprint Football Live, it is by far the best app IMO. I used it last night while at a wedding on a riverboat in New Orleans, we were able to watch the LSU game on my phone til the boat tied back up to the dock and we were able to get to a bar and watch the rest of the game.
