There are still a buttload of BP folks taking up a lot of rooms in G.I., Fourchon and Leeville.

after labor day rooms get cheaper everywhere over there. the trout fishing is really good right now and will probably stay that way for a month it is sill good through november just further up in the marsh and you wont catch as many

Listen to fishinpox he is right on. Good luck finding a room anywhere down there right now. I think from around here until it gets cold is the best time of the year to fish anyways. Not to hot. Weather is usually ok and the fish are biting.

We have 2 guys in Fourchon right now, the only place they could find a room was at the Holiday Inn and all they had were suites left at $200 a night.
