Took my Dad fishing wednesday and finally scored the first cajun slam of the year. Found some trout in the lake on a small reef but most were undersize but still fun to catch. Decided to head back to the killing fields from tuesdays trip and had a really good time watchin my dad catch get excited catchin them reds! He is a bass fisher mostly but has a special place in his heart for them hard fightin reds! Of course there was the one that got away... I stuck a nice red(i assume) and I never turned it or gained an inch on her before she wrapped me up and broke me off! You know what they say about them big fish... They dont just break your line, they break your heart:D
