AT&T...Giving the SHAFT....
 

On July 10.2009 AT&T will start charging everyone .50cents per text in the Gulf of Mexico area...and .1cent per KB on Data package!!!:pissed:

So anyone who works offshore or fishies offshore will get charged for any usage off land!!! This must be the NEW ERA of Obama!!!!

Everyone that this will effect please write to AT&T and let them know how you feel.....This new plan will effect 1,ooo of people!!!!

well good lcuk passing time in the gulf now...glad i got sprint.

You know whats even worse?? They're fixin to put an ATT tower to replace the one thats on my platform now!!! Not to mention they own a portion of PETROCOM!

Do you have any proof that att owns part of petro com???
Please tell me you do as then i can sue there azz off.
We got a major bill after a weekend in grand isle .
We were inshore and on the island the whole time.
2 teenage boys on the phone all weekend and they hit me for right at $300 or so.
Att said that since petro com would not sign an agreement that they were not part of the network and it was between me and petro com.
i know enough folks that this has happened to to maybe get a class action going.:pissed::pissed:

From what i was told by the sale rep the have partnership with them(Petrocom).

my att phone dosnt work worth a fk anyways when im fishing the islands in fourchon or breton sound and 1/2 the time at my house they are all a-holes

when i go offshore i go to fish not to text no body....
