I heard a radio ad yesterday about pre-applying for food stamps here. They did mention the "oil spill" as being a legit reason.

All that and not a lick of National Media coverage. I was there and was pretty upset that more people didn't take the time to go. I know some couldn't take time out off work to attend but I would have thought that place would have been packed.

yeah there were quite a few empty seats. Our company gave us a 3 hour lunch to go and then they paid us for it
