Beach 7-11
With a north wind blowing for a couple days, i decided to take my yak to the beach saturday mornin and see what was up. i got a late start and got to lil florida at about 10am. the water was patchy green and looked the best at the last sets of rocks. with a wnw wind at about 5, i tossed the yak in the surf and paddled out to the rocks. my 3rd cast with a corky devil, i dinged a 3lb trout and thought 'this is gonna b awesome!' i didnt catch another one for an hour..switched from the devil to gulp to topwaters.. no more takers until i tied on a white sebile magic swimmer. caught 3 more nice specks between 16 and 19 inches in the last 20 mins of fishin. the wind switched to the south so i packed it up. not a bad day on the beach.
