ground, ground chuck or ground round?
I walked over to the neighbor's. He was grillin' burgers. He had the water hose in one hand and a spatula in the other. :*****:

Brown Round!!! Was Pork involved? |
LOL. been there when doing my first brisket. I had no idea what I was doing but the fire chief said hey cook this for our meeting tonight. Needless to say I now know that indirect heat is the only way to go on a brisket.
Now back to burgers, the cheaper the meat, the better the burger. I used to cook em at the FD all the time and everyone would rave about how good and juicy they were. How'd you get em so juicy? Easy the cheapest meat you can buy and season em up with all your seasonings and a lil dale's |
I don't buy anything but ground round.

for burgers I like the 73\27. each burger can take as much as 6 months off your life. But they sure taste good |

Ground chuck
Have bought others but came back to ground chuck for all my ground beef needs. Have eaten grass-fed beef and really liked it. Would probably get all grass-fed beef if it wasn't so dang expensive. Usually get all my meat at Sams Club and it's always very good. They sell Choice grade cheaper than the stores in town sell Select!

I have not bought ground meat from the store in probably over 10 years. Everything I eat is 60%pork and 40 %deer or 50% brisket and 50% deer mixed from the slaughter house after I bring them my deer.
