I don't know how big your boat is but I would think that you could dock in Intracoastal City. Maybe some of the offshore fishing guys from around here could help you out a little more.

take hwy 90 and exit off at Darnell rd.(Weeks Island)exit stay on that road and follow the signs. It will lead you to cypermot point state park. The ramp is right there.

Almost forgot, just look up at the headings on top of this page. Click where it says Weather/tides/launches-no lunches,ha. select cypremort point. It will give you a map on how to get there.

intracoastal city is alot closer to lake charles than cypermort point.... there is a really nice wide launch there... to get there go to abbeville (if you dont want to pull a boat through lafayette get off at duson, go south, turn left on 90, right on 343,left on 14)go over the river, turn right on state street, turn right on 82, 82 will run into 333 launch is on the left on 333 you cant miss it

Thanks for the info. It is so nice to have somewhere to ask even the most basic questions. Appreciate it

You can leave Lake Charles and go South on Hwy. 14, go thru Holmwood, Lake Arthur and Kaplan down to Intercoastal City. All back roads.

I saw on the way to cypremort point today, one of the bridges on the way to the launch will be down for repairs untill thursday. Give Dagos a call before you make the drive.337-365-4235
