Dirt Work
 

My wife and I are fixing to build a house and we need to build a dirt pad on our lot. Anybody here knows of anyone that does some good dirt work in the New Iberia area? All I need them to do is dig the dirt up and haul it to our lot, I will take care of spreading it.

do you have a place where you are taking the dirt from? Or you need to buy some dirt?

We will be extending a pond behind my parents for the dirt so I just need it to be dug up and brought to my lot.

My buddy Cody Fortier has a construction company and they move dirt. CF Construction is the name of it. He can dig the pond out as well. They are based out Maurice. 337-308-6999 is his cell. I'm not sure what you are going to spread it with but you are going to need a dozer to pack the dirt for your pad.

We have a big tractor, leveler and a dozer to spread the dirt with but when we pack the pad we get the dump truck to drive over it a few times to really pack it. We also have a big dump truck bed that we converted to pull behind the tractor that we load up with dirt and pull all over the pad to halp pack it some more.
