Need prayers guys
 

My wife just called and said they are admitting my 6yr old step son into the hospital because his platelets are low. He had been running a fever since Sat. and she'd been rotating Ibuprofen and tylenol out to keep the fever down. I read on the net that the meds could cause it and also other things. I don't like what the other things said and I'm kinda trippin out. He's been my little buddy since he was 18months old. Someone please tell me I'm worryin over nothing. Thanks

hey jay it could very well be the medicene but i will keep him in my prayers.i brought grandbaby run test in baton rouge the other day they think he has crones dieses.will find out this week.

Prayers going up, bro. There's nothing scarier than getting news like this and not knowing what to expect. Praying that it's just the ibuprofen keeping his marrow activity down.

Prayers up man. Those little ones are strong. Been in and out of the hospital with my 2 year old little girl probably 15-20 times with crazy illnesses. Their strength will surprise you.

Prayers are with you and the family. It's ok to worry and "freak out", that is what parents are suppose to do. It is never the worst case scenario until the doctor says it is!!! Good Luck!!!
