Swamp snorkler - thanks for the information. I haven't experienced brackish water fishing and assumed you wanted to be on one side or the other. That the brackish area was too salty for freshwater species and vice versa. Turns out it's the opposite :)

I seen a report this AM on Channel 4, they were fishing in a brackish water lake , all on the same bait in the same spot they caught bass, goggle eye and red fish. All on a small buzz bait. A few of the goggle eye and blue gill were caught on a grub with a small spinner.
